Privacy Policy
Citrus State Digital (“we”, “us”) builds and runs websites for local businesses and churches, from Port St. Lucie, Florida. This policy covers citrusstate.digital: what we collect when you use it, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
What you type into our forms. Booking a call asks for your name, business, email, mobile number and anything you want us to look at. Opening a full report from The Squeeze asks for your name, phone, email and a few questions about your business. Joining the Project Steeple list asks for your email and, if you like, your church’s name.
What The Squeeze looks up. When you run a score we read public information about the business you pick: its Google listing, reviews and photos, its website, and Google’s speed test. That is about the business, not about you.
A little technical data. To stop abuse we keep a one-way scrambled version of your internet address (not the address itself) with each score you run, and our host keeps standard server logs. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don’t track you across other sites. The only cookies we set are for our own staff when they sign in.
How we use it
To do what you asked: hold the time you booked and send you the call details, open your report and go through it with you, or tell you when Project Steeple is ready. To reply when you contact us. To keep the site working and to stop spam and abuse. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it to build advertising profiles.
Who helps us
We use a small number of service providers to run the site, and they only get what they need to do that job: Vercel hosts the site; Neon stores form entries and bookings; Sanity stores the site’s text and pictures (never your form entries); GoHighLevel is our contact system and sends our emails and texts; Fastmail runs our email and calendar; and Google and Anthropic help The Squeeze read public information about a business. We don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
Text messages
If you tick the box to get texts, we’ll text the mobile number you gave us about the thing you asked for, such as your call link and reminders, or follow-up on your report. Ticking the box is optional and is not a condition of any purchase. We record when you agreed.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Reply STOP to any message to stop getting texts, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. The full program terms are in our Terms of Service.
How long we keep it
Form entries and bookings are kept while they’re useful for helping you and running the business, and then deleted. Score results are kept so the link you were given keeps working. Ask us and we’ll delete what we hold about you, unless we have to keep something by law.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or tell us to stop contacting you, by emailing zach@citrusstate.digital. Every email we send has a way to unsubscribe, and every text accepts STOP.
Security
We use encrypted connections, keep access to our systems limited to the people who need it, and use providers with strong security. No system is perfect, so we can’t promise absolute security, but we’ll tell you if something goes wrong that affects you.
Children
This site is for businesses and churches. It isn’t meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.
